All Ubuntu Overview, Ubuntu Main Overview
You are looking at information on the Bazaar importer system that serves Ubuntu Distributed Development. It's hoped that you won't have to care about the existence of this, but things don't always work out that way.
It is expected that uploads appear in the branches in less than 30 minutes, if it takes longer then something is up and this page should tell you why. To discuss issues or to ask for a package to be looked at please use our mailing list ubuntu-distributed-devel@lists.ubuntu.com.
The scripts used to import the packages are available from a bzr branch. If you encounter issues, please file bugs. If you're curious, a detailed explanation about how it works is documented in the UnderTheHood part of the wiki.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/udd/+bug/714622 The importer's local state database regarding tags that it has previously imported disagrees with the actual tags in the branch. Something has been changed, and further imports have been ceased pending manual review.
pristine-tar isn't able to handle all tarballs. See https://bugs.launchpad.net/udd/+bug/653301 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=641019
Is this just a failure because an open SSH connection has been closed due to inactivity whilst the importer has been busy doing other work?
"Can't find the needed upstream part for version" - bug in importer?
https://bugs.launchpad.net/udd/+bug/653320 A version which the importer believes is has previously imported is not or no longer tagged in the branch. Something has been changed or gone wrong, and further imports have been ceased pending manual review.

Packages containing non-UTF-8, non-ASCII filenames. This is a problem. It is unclear how to sensibly map these into Bazaar.

See https://bugs.launchpad.net/udd/+bug/494481. apport, clutk, openssh, wncksync, libgnome-keyring are broken as new upstreams were merged without "merge-upstream". There are some where the tag apparently wasn't merged from Debian. Code examination suggested those cases were fixed, and so I added the tags and retried them. If more of the latter category show up then we need to look for more bugs around tags when merging.

"Reupload of a version?"
https://bugs.launchpad.net/udd/+bug/653810 - Cannot import paths containing backslashes
